В статье с позиций историографического подхода рассмотрен научный вклад в становление и развитие отечественной пенитенциарной психологии доктора психологических наук, профессора, заслуженного работника высшей школы Российской Федерации одного из создателей рязанской пенитенциарной психолого-педагогической научной школы Виталия Григорьевича Деева (1930–2000).
