PROBLEMS OF IMPLEMENTING THE PRINCIPLES OF PENAL LAW IN THE PROCESS OF CORRECTING A CRIMINAL

Abstract (English):
The article analyzes the problems of guaranteeing the rights of convicts in connection with the principles of penal law. It is concluded that not all general and special rights of convicted persons are guaranteed by penal legislation in accordance with the principles of penal law. A study has been conducted on the formation of the principles of penal law, taking into account foreign experience in improving the process of resocialization of convicts. For effective work with convicts, it is necessary to apply them comprehensively, based on the personality of the offender and, based on the identified shortcomings, amend the current legislation.
