Abstract:
The article contains the results of a comprehensive analysis of the current state and prospects of waste management of textile production in institutions of the penal system. The topic of the work is determined by the need to increase the level of employment of convicts in the production facilities of the penal system. The research methodology assumed a comprehensive analysis of textile production waste, taking into account their regulatory nomenclature, weight, and hazard class, in order to assess the possibility of adapting innovative technologies for the development of a closed-loop economy in institutions of the penal system. Proposals to improve the organizational and economic management of material and technical support in relation to the generated waste from textile industries are based on the requirements of current federal legislation in the field of environmental protection. The recommendations developed are innovative in nature and are related to the latest waste-free technologies in the textile industry.
