The study of subjects “Physical Training” and “Applied physical training” considers psychophysical potential development of future officers of the Federal Penal Service and seeks to assist the adaptation process for official activities. Practice position “Polygon” operates in the Academy of the Penal Service of Russia in order to implement practice-oriented approach. It enables to simulate the real extreme situations in the limited space which can happen dur- ing the official activities of the officers of the Federal Penal Service of Russia. The classes in the practice position play the most important role in the study process of disciplines “Physical Training” and “Applied physical training”.
