Abstract (English):
The article presents an analysis of the implementation of residence right of a convicted person to live outside the colony-settlement within the municipal structure, i.e. the city district. The study is not limited to scientific discussion scope and has a direct applied relevance. Realization features of the specified right are shown on a certain experience of correctional institution activity. It is concluded that the violation of this right are usually associated with ignoring the legislation requirements on the general principles of the organization of local self-government.
