Abstract (English):
Complex system research of theoretical and legal aspects of penal system security was first carried out under the conditions of its reform taking into account emerging legislative and law enforcement problems and ways of solving them (or minimizing) on the basis of theoretical and legal analysis of legislative provisions in terms of concept and category of security prevention, general scientific methods of cognition (dialectical and materialistic theory of cognition; structural and functional synthesis, generalization, comparison), as well as comprehensive and systematic approaches and specific methods: regulatory and logical methods, questionnaires, interpretation of legal norms, comparative and legal method.The main components of security included into the law enforcement mechanism of the penal system, and the basis of their functional relationship and interaction are defined in the article.The factors that determine the penal system including the main threats to law enforcement service security in the penal system are classified. Proposals the implementation of which will be essential for the security of the penal system are presented.
