The article deals with the problematic issues arising during the forensic psychiatric examinations in criminal cases concerning the use of coercive measures of a medical nature. According to the continuing differentiation of compulsory treatment types attention is drawn to the specific omissions and errors in forensic psychiatric examinations, especially in the detection of sexual preference disorder (pedophilia).
