In the history of many modern states there are examples when a canon acted as officially recognized and authorized by the state regulation determining relations between people. Now possibilities of religious dogma are based on the spiritual authority, irrational methods of coercion. A religious dogma need not receive the status of the secular law to be the social regulator.In this connection the situation developed in the Muslim countries is of particular scientific interest. Systems of law in these states are much more based on religious dogmata. Islam not just requires acceptance of certain truths, but also imposes the whole set of instructions which determine both the spiritual and temporal organization of all Muslims. All this encourages scrutinized study of thestructure of the Islamic law.In the article the Islamic law is considered as one of the forms of positive law which incorporated specific features of the cultural environment or the whole nation.
