Abstract (English):
In accordance with the provisions of the criminal Executive legislation of the Russian Federation the purpose of the punishment applied to persons found guilty in committing crimes in the territory of the Russian Federation, is to prevent the Commission by these persons of reoffending, that is, giving them appropriate correctional action.The mechanism of correction of persons sentenced to alternative to incarceration the types of criminal penalties involves interactions of bodies, which in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation responsible for control over the persons condemned to punishments not connected with deprivation of liberty and prevention of crimes among this category of persons.It is the participation of the police in the implementation of the control of the persons condemned to punishments not connected with deprivation of liberty, are of considerable practical interest to determine the role and degree of participation of the law enforcement officer in the mechanism of correcting the convicts.In this regard, subject to the provisions at the moment the criminal-Executive legislation, the relevant article sets out forms of involvement of police in the mechanism of prevention of crime among persons consisting on the account in criminally-Executive inspections, but also highlighted the imperfections of departmental legislation, which prevents the proper exercise of prosecutorial supervision in the sphere of these relations.
