The issues of interaction of officials when investigating the crimes committed in correctional facilities are considered. The necessity to apply the regime measures and to use the results obtained in the course of further investigation is justified.The conclusion is drawn that when conducting preliminary investigation in cases of the crimes committed in a correctional facility, close interaction of the investigator with the officials of the correctional facility is essential in the interests of the investigation and in all cases without exception.
