Abstract (English):
Questions of spiritual and moral education of cadets of the Academy of the FPS of Russia, improvement of forms and methods of training of highly qualified specialists for penal system in the educational organizations of the Federal Penitentiary Service through formation of a system of cadets’ spiritual and moral values on the example of the Academy of the FPS of Russia are considered. The value, the main directions and the best practices of improvement of educational work at the Academy are revealed. Spiritual and moral education of cadets contributes to the development of their discipline, responsibility and mutual assistance. It should be based on certain implementation of standard instructions and requirements of the Federal Penal Service and to be carried out systemically and in a complex. All staff of the educational organization and also parents of cadets, veterans of penal system, Great Patriotic War, local wars, home front workers are to be involved in this work.
