Abstract (English):
The article highlights the comparative legal analysis carried out by the authors of the norms of the Constitution and the Criminal Code of the Republic of Tajikistan on the confiscation of property and, as a result, their correlation is determined. It is established that the confiscation of property is considered one of the types of criminal punishment and dates back to the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan. The Criminal Code of the Republic of Tajikistan contains extensive regulation of punishment in the form of confiscation of property.
