PROMISING DIRECTIONS IN THE PRODUCTION AND PROCESSING OF FOOD POTATOES OF REGIONAL IMPORTANCE

Abstract (English):
The article reveals the problems in the organization of potato production and processing based on statistical data. The objects of scientific research were agricultural and processing enterprises of the region, regime facilities of the penal system. A comprehensive analysis of the main indicators related to the production and processing of this agricultural crop has been carried out. The purpose of the study is to identify trends, patterns and bottlenecks in the organization of potato production. Potato production and processing is evaluated and analyzed by administrative districts of the region and advanced enterprises. As a result of the research, an economic justification has been prepared for certain promising areas for the organization of potato production and processing in agricultural enterprises of the region and at high-security facilities of the penal enforcement system.
