The article examines the problems of combating mobile fraud in Russia. The statistical data characterizing the development of mobile fraud in our country are analyzed. The features of mobile fraud and its strengths, including such a technique as social engineering, are being studied. A type of mobile fraud is considered – "prison" mobile fraud.
