THE STUDY OF THE VALUE AND SEMANTIC SPHERE OF HIV-INFECTED CONVICTS
Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
The article is devoted to one of the urgent problems of penitentiary psychology – the study of the characteristics of the value system and life orientations of HIV-infected convicts. Currently, there is every reason to say that HIV-infection is accompanied by stigmatization, which is a complex process of socio-psychological interaction leading to the rejection of persons with certain undesirable signs. In this regard, work with this category of persons has certain specifics and requires additional organizational and other measures to help overcome their personal deformations, the formation of law-abiding behavior and social adaptation in conditions of deprivation of liberty. The purpose of the study is to study the features of the value-semantic sphere of HIV-infected convicts serving sentences in a correctional institution.
