Abstract (English):
The execution of criminal penalties in the correctional colonies of general, special and strict regime, and in correctional colonies of special regime for those sentenced for life imprisonment is analyzed and their similarity and difference are revealed in the article.The comparative legal analysis of corruption manifestations in correctional colonies of different regimes is carried out in the article, possible solutions of problems of corruption counteraction in places of imprisonment are proposed. The factors of corruption crimes distribution in the correctional colonies are revealed.In order to prevent corruption it is necessary to conduct daily briefings on the prohibition of out-of-service contacts with convicts, on fair attitude of employees to service and combat training.
