Abstract (English):
Digitalization of pre-trial proceedings seems to be an important and widely developed topic of discussion, the relevance of which in times of artificial intelligence and the comprehensive transition of work to online mode provokes the modern legislator to move with the times. As part of the analysis of the problem, the provisions of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Russian Federation regarding electronic evidence carriers (Articles 81–84) and electronic document management in criminal proceedings (Article 474) are studied.
